Boston Celtics: Playoff Ae Templates
Another deep Celtics playoff run called for a refreshed look across in-venue screens and social media. We collaborated closely with their internal design team to bring their thoughtfully crafted “Different Here” playoff campaign to life through elegant motion design. The featured Ae templates allow for customization and variety across each playoff game and every fan touchpoint.
My role as Sr. Motion Designer was to take their photoshop static designs and translate each of them into organized and simple motion templates within After Effects. This included animating their various design elements and rigging up all the photos and player information for easy adjustments throughout the playoffs.

Starting Lineup Social Template - All Screens
Template features a swappable sponsor slot, team logos, playoff game info, and player info. All 5 of the player info slots are rigged so that all you need to do is change the player numbers and everything switches automatically.
Celtics Playoffs Template - All Screens
Template features three swappable photo spots for their HUB screen, which is their main outdoor screen - allowing for them to feature different players and images throughout their playoff run.
Gameday Matchup Template - All Screens
Template features two swappable photo slots, team logos and game information for their HUB screen - allowing for them to feature different players and images throughout their playoff run.
Sponsored Matchup - All Screens
Template features a swappable sponsor logo, team logos and group photo for their Jumbotron screen inside their arena.

Shows how information is edited within After Effects for each matchup’s starting lineup. Notably, all team logos and every player on the roster has their image and information loaded and rigged up.
