Ferndale Golden Eagles: GFX Package
Logo Loop - Mainboard
We developed a comprehensive athletic-wide graphics package for Ferndale High School athletics program, built around a flexible visual system inspired by the school's golden eagle identity. The project explored multiple applications of their eagle logos, using its various marks to create dynamic eye animations while incorporating feather-inspired textures and displacement maps. We also added abstract shapes to add depth and motion throughout the package. This all resulted in a cohesive visual language where the eagle feather displacement to transition between scenes and elements was the key element that brought everything together.
As part of the project delivery, we also produced a series of in-depth video lessons documenting the entire process from initial styleframes and animation techniques to exporting and final delivery. This offered a unique behind-the-scenes look at our creative workflow for future students to learn off of as they updated the Ae templates we created for them.
